Tractors...

So the funniest thing happened to me today, well funny to me...

I was talking to my friend on facebook chat, who lives in Rochester, and like IN the city. I was complaining about how i was late to work, but it totally wasn't my fault. So he asked why, and I told him its because I got stuck behind a tractor and there was no way to pass him. He didn't respond for a few minutes so I asked if he was still there.

He finally answered back and was just like, "I'm really confused. What do you mean?" So I told him again, that I got stuck behind a tractor on my way to work. Finally he was just like "What do you mean a tractor? Like it was driving on the road? Where was it going?"

He literally has never seen a tractor before, and especially not driving around on the streets. He didn't even know they were street legal. Where I live, it's almost more common to see tractors going from farm to farm than it is to see cars. And there is only one road that goes through town, so you really can't get around them either.

I guess I never realize that things that happen in small towns are so unusual to people who have never lived in one again.
